چکیده

determination of trade-off, which they are feasible and similar variations on all of decision making units (dmu), is important issue in data envelopment analysis (dea). in this paper, we select these trade-offs based on an external evaluation of dmus such that the correlation between external evaluation and technical evaluation resulted from dea model is maximized. in fact, we sift the trade-offs and select only those of them that result higher correlation between external and technical evaluation of dmus. we intruduce a generlized dea models that it select combination of trade-offs for the purpose of maximizing between the two assessments. finally, we show the result of this model in case study that it returns human development index.

Trade-off Analysis for Requirements Selection

Evaluation, prioritization and selection of candidate requirements are of tremendous importance and impact for subsequent software development. Effort, time as well as quality constraints have to be taken into account. Typically, different stakeholders have conflicting priorities and the requirements of all these stakeholders have to be balanced in an appropriate way to ensure maximum value of ...

Trade-Off Geometries and Frequency-Dependent Selection

Life-history evolution is determined by the interplay between natural selection and adaptive constraints. The classical approach to studying constrained life-history evolution – Richard Levins’s geometric comparison of fitness sets and adaptive functions – is applicable when selection pressures are frequency-independent. Here we extend this widely used tool to frequency-dependent selection. Suc...

Generalized Analysis on Diversity-Multiplexing Trade-off of Relay Protocols

Under the more practical assumption that transmitters have no knowledge of the channel state information (CSI) but the channel distribution information (CDI), this paper examines the diversity-multiplexing trade-off (DMT) of two classes of cooperative protocols, namely, the amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) protocols, with a three-node half-duplex relay network under slow fad...

Uncertainty trade-off and disturbance trade-off for quantum measurements

An important non-classical feature of quantum measurements is the celebrated uncertainty trade-off, namely that the uncertainties in the outcomes of measurements performed on distinct yet identically prepared ensembles of systems cannot all be made arbitrarily small. Recently, we have shown that quantum measurements also exhibit another non-classical feature of disturbance trade-off namely, tha...

Bias-variance trade-off for prequential model list selection

The prequential approach to statistics leads naturally to model list selection because the sequential reformulation of the problem is a guided search over model lists drawn from a model space. That is, continually updating the action space of a decision problem to achieve optimal prediction forces the collection of models under consideration to grow neither too fast nor too slow to avoid excess...

Modeling and Trade-off Analysis of NFRs

In this paper we introduce a generic approach to analyze system design models with regard to the satisfaction of their Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) to enable the evaluation of their NFRs’ trade-offs. NFRs and their satisfaction become especially critical and deserve more attention in certain application domains such as real-time and embedded systems. This is mainly due to the constraints ...
